Our Story

Ian Plested turned professional in 2005 after a lifelong love of photography when his daughter was born. Maybe this was the kick up the bum to get things going!  Soon after he was running a high street studio for portraits and also commissions for weddings began. 3 years on after many sessions and hundreds of weddings the time came to call a stop to this and focus solely on the business sector. Ian won the 'Event Photographer of the Year' award from the Master Photographers Association in 2010. The clients grew and Ian never looked back. He has a network of fellow like minded professionals he teams up with on larger events.

Proudest moment? It's every time he is contacted by a regular client for the next job.

In his spare time he is a HM Coastguard Rescue Officer which can mean many hours on a cliff edge, driving a vehicle on 'blues and twos' or administering casualty care. He also holds a private pilots licence, so look up it could be him up there flying his microlight aircraft.
